Walahi I don't understand why people wanna arabize their country.
Islam is not an Arab religion so why do these so called religious people try so hard to be Arab in an effort to appear "more muslim".
The only thing these posts do is make younger Muslims turn away from the faith and see it as colonialism and attack on their culture.
What good does arabization do? You end your language, culture and identity and become an knock off arab. Then what? You are no more muslim in Allah's eyes than the one who keeps his culture. There's nothing that special about Arab culture, I see it as just another culture among many others. It doesn't stand out like that. People conflate the need to preserve the Quran in its original Arabic form as some how meaning Arab culture is Islamic even though Arab culture has nothing to do with the region and much of it was adopted after the prophet's lifetime. Arabic isn't a special language in itself, it is the language of the Quran simply because that was the only language the prophet spoke and so Allah gave the prophet the message in the only language he could understand. Nothing more.
If arabization was a good thing for the religion, then why would god make is all into our own tribes and languages? Just to throw it away for the culture of desert dwellers?
When these so called "Islamists" start trying to make moves to arabize their nations don't cry when people start to apostate as they see the religion as a Arab colonial ideology made to threaten their identity. I myself do not think like this because I know the religion however there are already many young albeit lost people who renounce Islam because of this sentiment. Whenever you see these "muslims" push for arabization always push back on it otherwise you will have people thinking this is what Islam is really about and arabization is the end goal I'm which many will apostate as they see Islam as a threat to their identity. Do not let it happen.
