To clarify you’re statement which is simply false. Somaliland is a country claimed but not controlled by Somalia. Internationally seen as an autonomous region of Somalia. Somaliland is a country but not recognised as a international one but it’s still sovereign.

its a bit more complicated than that. SL is nothing like other unrecognised/partially recognised states or other autonomous states . sl is in a different problem right now
