As a proud Northerner who wishes for total unification, If this were to happen; I will run to create my own state and my own country. Why not? if they did it why can't I?

2. All able bodied males are required to enlist in the armed forces.

3. Country will be a mix of socialism and real democracy without any forms of imported/influenced western ideologies and narratives.

4. Absolutely no involvement nor contact between the chaos and corruption of Somalia and Somaliland. We shall only provide expertise/advice via video call, if they don't listen, we dgaf!

5. We won't have prisons. If you are found to commit a crime, you shall simply be transported to the middle of the Indian ocean and left there. Crime rates will be 0%.

6. No forms of drugs in the entire country.

7. Somali culture and traditions will be CELEBRATED and all out on full force! Somali names, poetry, dances and MORE! We shall have absolutely no forms of Arabisation.

Socotra was never under Somalis' rule, and you can't just steal lands from others (or you'll suffer economical and political embargos, like Russia after the annexion of Crimea.

What will be your new Constitution? Currency? How will you generate revenues (from a deserted lost island)? If Democracy is as important as you make it seem, will you follow the International Court of Justice? If so, are you willing to have open elections and multiple political parties (of the opposion) ? What about the Instruction and the Rights of Girls? Secular or Official Religion? Rousseau's philosophy (of a public religion; civic religion, like the Romans, with rituals which gather everyone under one "culture"), or an Islamic-style of Governance?


Don't make stupid decisions, forced conscription is ridiculous, even more when it's a young and poor country. Do you have a narrative, tales, stories for your people? (we call a "Roman National" in French; you're basically the fruit of State-propaganda that taught you about your ancestors,etc. In a way that most citizens would feel closer to each other through shared culture).

Lets unpack this.

1. Our international diplomacy will consist of, “you don’t like it? Gtfo” We shall be nice and respectful and try to get along with all countries. Nobody is “stealing” land, I have a neat trick for that which involves utilising peoples greed. Also, most of the world is scared shitless of Russia as it is a powerhouse, “embargo” is a cute word, I like it.

2. The constitution, currency and revenue generation is not as complicated as you make it out to be, this will be sorted out by highly specialised individuals also it doesn’t have to be Socotra. Fair and open elections will be the norm (we will be one of the First Nations to implement this) also, we will only listen to the ICJ for matters we consider fair and appropriate.

3. Rights of Women will be equal to that of a Man, dead 50/50. This will be the First Nation to adopt such a measure so don’t worry about that. Official religion will be Islam but you are free to believe in whatever you want, just no harassment allowed. Simplicity is the key here. Once you overthink, your head will explode from your own thoughts drowning you in eternal despair.
