We’d be higher and better than Ethiopia and Kenya. We’ll have the same economical, technological and entertainment advantage like U.S.A (with Hollywood medias, Silicon Valley and Wall Street journal). We’d be more competitive than other developed nations (U.S.A,China,Japan and U.K). If greater Somalia happened then we’ll be more than a first world country. What’s stopping us for achieving this? Clan issues, the youth relying on elders instead of kids with bright vision, knowledge and future. I know us diasporas are just trying to survive off what we have here in the west. But it’s offensive to me in the amount of advantage we have. Sharing the same culture, language and religion and yet divided by clans and politics. Isn’t this crazy? What’s going on? I know this is a recycled topics but before the doom and glooms talk bad about this spare me with this thread. What can we do to motivate the future for a better vision?Somalis in Somalia need their own reform party at least.

Socotra = yemeni. Its a hard pill to swallow but it doesnt belong to us. The people there are mehri and originate from modern day yemen. They speak an ancient south arabian language and have some of the highest amounts of natufian, sometimes even pure natufian.

I mean fairs, this is not me saying galbeed and nfd should be occupied, they should 100% be free to do whatever they want away from their oppressors. My question is why should we subject a people that arent somali to our rule? Its lowkey unfair

I yearn for greater Somalia but that can only happen if there is a leader that has the best interest for all Somalis regardless of their qabil and bring all Somalis together as one and have greater Somalia in their manifesto. If we don't have clear visual leaders to bring the country together we will never see this vision. Somaliland should remain separate unless thst change happens.

Wallahi you might be onto something. The only way to get leadership in that country without qabiil is if you are rich enough to bribe yourself to the top of the food chain.

i was thinking about this the other day honestly why doesnt a somali entrepreneur whos hella rich help his/her country out? For somaliland, the owner of worldremit should deffo go into power

For somalia i would say hormuud or something but they are apparently aligned with AS.

anyway seeing as we are natural capitalist entrepreneurs, having something like a big company in power would actually make sense. Idk but its definitely new and no country has ever done this. Somalia is like one big company basically with everyone having a role

Okay. Maybe it would “fail”. But if Somalis learned their ways and listen to the youths and give chances to let them speak for themselves I don’t think it will.
China learned the hard ways in the 20th century when they were being oppressed by the western colonials and they’ve learned the hard ways to do better. Singapore built their nest from scratch. Look at them now. And There’s Rwanda (our neighbouring counterparts). Kicking some ass.
