Firstly, FANO does not have the power nor the intention of conquering the Somali region. Secondly Muslims have been attacked by FANO- they burned down 5 masjids in Gojjam (the region they control), attack Muslims in the street randomly, and the Muslim majority regions of Amhara straight up do not have a FANO presence there- also waaay more Muslim Amharas are in the ENDF then in FANO.

Also FANO uses the fact that Muslims are in high spots in Ethiopia's gov and economy in it's propaganda, showing their thinly veiled desire to put Muslims back in the low spot they were in pre-1974.
