Why do you christians force people to love? I dont have to love you, I have free will. Islam teaches free will and in Islam you can love or hate it's up to you, it's a choice you can make. Nothing is forced because thru force there is no free will anymore.
But I can't harm you that's the only difference well if your not harming me anyways, the prophet never harmed abu talib and he didn't believe, as long u don't start harming me. Safety for all is paramount but love is not, that's a choice u can make in Islam and is consistent with free will.
