Urm no you don't. You go up to them (9/10 theyll come up to you) and say hi. After that they'll cling on to you and spill all their secrets and traumas before even asking for your name.

They're incredibly easy and require 0 effort.
Ajanabi’s are cool but they are harder to communicate with then somalis. With a somali you can start a convo off with malawax. In order to have a nice long conversation with someone you need to find a topic both of you guys are interested in. I know a lot of ajanabi’s they’re just not my friends, I wouldn’t hang out with them.

I've worked in regions where there were hardly any ajnabis. You will eventually adjust, on the course you will probably have other students who are also foreign so you will naturally gravitate towards one another.

I did a placement in rural Indonesia with a bunch of cadaans. I had a good time even though we didn't have much in common. Travelling is a great way to meet new people too while abroad. Think of this as an opportunity to expand your social skills and ability to adapt to unfamiliar scenarios, it will help you in the future. I'm sure you will enjoy this experience.

you into anime you can talk to them about that a lot of them are weebs

I grew up in exclusively cadaan neighbourhood for most of my life. I had only cadaan friends until I was 14-15. I changed my school to another one which had more ajanabis ( somalis included) but overall cadaan majority.

I gradually stopped hanging around my cadaan friends and started to spend more time with my ajanabi/somali clique. I did not grew up isolated from somalis, I attented dugsi and also befriended somalis from close by neighbourhood who actually were the ones I met in school kkkk. When I started high school I actually moved to this neighbourhood:dead1: was shocking to see ajanabis all around me 24/7.

High school I befriended more ajanabis then somalis and they have stayed with me since I left high school years ago.

Friends are not static, you can get new friends from places you wouldn’t expect. You can gradually go apart with a friend, its just life.

Bro that’s not possible if your in America :deadmanny:. You gotta have one white or black homie.
I know hundreds of ajanabi’s but they’re not my friends. A friend is someone who you would kick it with, as a kid I lived in predominantly somali neighborhood and in high school we were fighting with the ajanabi’s. First year of college was at home so I didn’t really meet anyone, just the same niggas.

Hopefully, I just wanted to visit historical cities and live there for bit whilst finishing school. Study of abroad was perfect I also wanted to meet new people as well.

Bro there isn’t a single white person who lived in my neighborhood when I was growing up. My school had 1 blm Caadan girl and she was lesbian. Now that I’m in college these niggas are gentrifying the whole area, they walk there dogs in places where niggas used to roll dice.

I speak to ajanabi all the time bro, it’s just I’m too lazy to go out my way and figure out who this person is. With Somalis I already know who this person is from the start all I need is his name.

Most of my friends are ajnabi, I only have 3 Somali friends but they are not my close friends, but my sisters have basically only Somali friends let me tell you they are bums, one of them is dating a Somali fraudster, ajnabi friends can enrich your life with connections, sorry but there’s not a lot of Somali people that them have the networks
