Ajanabi’s are cool but they are harder to communicate with then somalis. With a somali you can start a convo off with malawax. In order to have a nice long conversation with someone you need to find a topic both of you guys are interested in. I know a lot of ajanabi’s they’re just not my friends, I wouldn’t hang out with them.

was shocking to see ajanabis all around me 24/7.Yeah me to i grew up in a arab/turk neighborhood so they are the only friends i had. And all my school years i was the only somali in my school. Only somali friend i have is my cousin and he lives in another city.

A friend is someone who you would kick it with, as a kid I lived in predominantly somali neighborhood and in high school we were fighting with the ajanabi’s. Hopefully, I just wanted to visit historical cities and live there for bit whilst finishing school. Study of abroad was perfect I also wanted to meet new people as well.
Bro there isn’t a single white person who lived in my neighborhood when I was growing up. My school had 1 blm Caadan girl and she was lesbian. Now that I’m in college these niggas are gentrifying the whole area, they walk there dogs in places where niggas used to roll dice.I grew up in exclusively cadaan neighbourhood for most of my life. I had only cadaan friends until I was 14-15. I changed my school to another one which had more ajanabis ( somalis included) but overall cadaan majority.
I gradually stopped hanging around my cadaan friends and started to spend more time with my ajanabi/somali clique. I did not grew up isolated from somalis, I attented dugsi and also befriended somalis from close by neighbourhood who actually were the ones I met in school kkkk. When I started high school I actually moved to this neighbourhood
High school I befriended more ajanabis then somalis and they have stayed with me since I left high school years ago.
Friends are not static, you can get new friends from places you wouldn’t expect. You can gradually go apart with a friend, its just life.
I speak to ajanabi all the time bro, it’s just I’m too lazy to go out my way and figure out who this person is. With Somalis I already know who this person is from the start all I need is his name.
