I am the opposite, I have barely any (maybe one or two) Somali friends.

I do not get to see them as much as I would like but they're really driven guys.

Sometimes it's nice to expand your circle. You learn a lot from other people who are not similar to you.

Use it as an opportunity for growth.

I find Somalis are better as friends compared to ajnabi. But ajnabi are better from a dating perspective.

Somali women have character, they know how to carry the convo when you don’t feel like. That’s why I love talking to them.

how is it gonna be boring when you’re studying abroad? you’re literally in a whole new country.

Also I’m the opposite, I don’t have any somali friends. All ajnabis. Same with the girls I talk to.

That’s sweet. I have no issue with Somali guys when dating but there’s a lighter less intense vibe with ajnabi guys in my experience which makes it enjoyable. You can find that in faraxs but rarely atleast here in the uk.

Be greatful sxb, at least you had the Somali experience in school. I had the misfortune of going to an almost all-cadaan school and it was dead wallahi. The amount of fake qosol I had to mime :heh: the long-term effects are still felt lol
Alx for dugsi and that one Somali friend who transferred to our school for the last few years :mjhaps:

I used the wrong word wallahi I meant weird, making somali friends is easy because you already have a lot in common so you don’t have to try to hard. With ajanabi’s you got put a little more effort.

Urm no you don't. You go up to them (9/10 theyll come up to you) and say hi. After that they'll cling on to you and spill all their secrets and traumas before even asking for your name.

They're incredibly easy and require 0 effort.

I feel for you brotha, a cousin of mine went to an engineering high school full of rich snobby Caadan kids and he would use them for their money. I always wondered where he was getting all his designer clothes from even though he lives in the gutter and has no job.
