You don’t have to be a married single mom. choose wisely. Muslim men for the most part grow up knowing they’re the leaders of their families. Most try their best.
Inshallah
That guy Zach (on the podcast) never treated Jenna well. They shouldn’t use him as an example. He seems immature. Anyways, these cadaan (gaalo in general) are very confused.
this was just one, I've seen plenty of this phenomenon recently.
Besides, do you want your future husband to provide financially and help maintain the home?
Not the home really, but with the kids. Kids are a 24/7 job that never stops, I'm gonna need help

Why the hell should he be helping around the house when he’s going out to put food on the table
see?!!!!! this is what i'm talking about :draketf: even the quote on quote "good" men think this way. Let say a guy works 40hrs a week (the typical 8hrs a day x 5 days in the week), that's the most men work anyway right? do you think cleaning, cooking, laundry, getting groceries, bathing the children, feeding them, changing diapers, helping them with their homework, teaching the quraan/deen, keeping a eye one them all the time, is equal to 40hrs a week where there are rests after work? This type of work is around the clock 24/7. you never rest :ohlord:

Marry a guy on deen is the solution to your problem but that would mean possibly cutting back on your other requirements. It's gonna be rare to find someone who's focused on his aqirah and his families aqirah ever uber focusing on the dunyah and getting his money up beyond what would make for comfortable living conditions.

It's why the prophet said choose the one with deen the problems arise when people start deviating from that in there choices. Nearly all marriage issue direct towards not picking someone on deen. Picking differently will come with its trials and tribulations
