Don't give up Allah is Al Latif kind to his slaves and understand what you are gowing through and blessed you to be a muslim when you could have been a mushrikeen. This suggests Allah loves you and want to see you in jannah and all you have to do is practice the religion he made you into. Step by step think of all the things Allah have done for you such as created you from nothing, saved you from death, you are not in poverty etc and compare your blessings to others who were/are less fortunate than you. Al wadud the all loving love those who do good even if it's little such as giving charity praising allah fulfilling your prayers etc. Remember the doors to forgiveness will always be opened to you as long as death hasn't reached you and that Allah is always there for you so you have to do is open the door and enter. Basically I’m 30 and i feel like the older i get the further the distance between me and Allah. I broke my fast yesterday intentionally. Last year i fasted 14 days. My iman is low.

Anybody help me!
If you are intentionally doing this then it's important that you change your environment otherwise you should come to terms that you do not believe, if your heart is conflicted it will break your spirit.

Walaal, May Allah guide you first of all, pray two sincere rakaat and ask Allah for guidance. Secondly are there any sins that you commit regularly like listening to music or masturbating?, if yes maybe thats the cause of your low imaan.

Abu Huraira reported: A man came to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and he complained about the hardness of his heart. The Prophet said, “If you want to soften your heart, feed the poor and pat the head of the orphan.

based on this hadith my advice is first to stop any sins you do, second try to do a good deed, like sponsering an orphan or donating money to the needy. Just do something good that will make you feel good.

I am not a farax
Walaal i don’t know what is happening right now on your mind. I hope this text will benefit you.

A friend will not (literally) share your struggles, and a loved one cannot physically take away your pain, and a close one will not stay up the night on your behalf. So look after yourself, protect yourself, nurture yourself and don’t give life’s events more than what they are really worth. Know for certain that when you break no one will heal you except you, and when you are defeated no one will give you victory except your determination. Your ability to stand up again and carry on is your responsibility. Do not look for your self worth in the eyes of people; look for your worth from within your conscience. If your conscience is at peace then you will ascend high and if you truly know yourself then what is said about you won’t harm you.

Do not carry the worries of this life because this is for Allah. And do not carry the worries of sustenance because it is from Allah. And do not carry the anxiety for the future because it is in the Hands of Allah.

Carry one thing: How to Please Allah. Because if you please Him, He Pleases you, fulfills you and enriches you.

Do not weep from a life that made your heart weep. Just say, “Oh Allah compensate me with good in this life and the hereafter.”

Sadness departs with a Sajdah. Happiness comes with a sincere Du’a. Allah Does Not forget the good you do. nor Does He Forget the good you did to others and the pain you relieved them from. Nor Will He Forget the eye which was about to cry but you made it laugh.

Live your life with this principle: Be good even if you don’t receive good, not because for other’s sake but because Allah loves those who do good.

Advice from the great scholar Imam Ibn al-Qayyim (rahimahullah)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

And Shaitan (Satan) will say when the matter has been decided: "Verily, Allah promised you a promise of truth. And I too promised you, but I betrayed you. I had no authority over you except that I called you, so you responded to me. So blame me not, but blame yourselves. I cannot help you, nor can you help me. I deny your former act in associating me (Satan) as a partner with Allah (by obeying me in the life of the world). Verily, there is a painful torment for the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers, etc.)."

The first step towards recovering is admitting you are in the wrong, now all you need to do, is fight for your soul!

Don't sign up to join these people who will beg to be sent back to earth:

[For such is the state of the disbelievers], until, when death comes to one of them, he says, "My Lord, send me back

That I might do righteousness in that which I left behind."
No! It is only a word he is saying; and behind them is a barrier until the Day they are resurrected.
Wow. Is that the disbeliever in the grave. Such a scary sight. I thought that most slept until judgement day.

:damedamn:
