Nobody is perfect, I use to never pray, I would probably pray once or twice in a year.

& It's your environment too that influences you, if you live among people who don't pray you become like them.

My brother I understand where you are coming from. All I can all I can say is is there is calm after the storm. Allah swt does not burden a soul with what it can't take.

God loves when a believer struggles for him and for his religion so keep trying your best because that is what's important.

God is looking at your right now maybe this is the moment that you should prove yourself he has placed you in this situation to test you. You will overcome it inshallah. I will make duca for you.

Stay strong akhi.

People don’t just loose their faith in Allah, something difficult must’ve happened in your life and that is when your faith will be tested so hang on the rope bro. :reallymaury:

How important is Allah and Islam to you? When you are thinking about the task that has to be done before starting your day, do you think about your prayers? What do you prioritize in your life? Sxb think and honestly evaluate these questions. Also if you see your religious tasks as a chore it is always going to be difficult to perform them, so try to seek meaning and enjoyment in your worship, because wallahi it is one of the best feelings a person can experience. :banderas:You also need to have some sort of discipline in order to be consistent.

You will also have to think of your surroundings and the people you hang out with. This can be the biggest influence as I have had this experience in the past. For example I was once hanging out with a group of people that were in drinking and I was the only person who was not drinking. I felt the pressure of joining but alhamdulilah I never did. Be careful of who you choose as friends. Wallahi I feel you akhi and I pray to Allah that He strengthens your Iman completely. Stay strong. :friendhug:

Everyone has their lazy days, the point like anything else in life is getting back on the horse and moving forward.

Death Awaits You
Same thing here, my faith became weak after I turned 24 I think, started skipping prayers to the point there was a whole year I didn't pray even once, Walahi it is hard to practice Islam in the west, your faith weakens the more you stay and age,it is inevitable.
you're in the right path sxb. It's a natural process for indoctrinated people living in a developed society. soon you'll start feeling unable to reconcile your attempt to believe with the lack of evidence in the religion. then you'll slowly begin to lose your fear of Allah and eternal hell until you lose your fear of Allah and eternal hell the same way you lost your fear of the monster living in your closet as a kid.

salah Is one thing the one pillar where there is no ambiguity about its importance.

if you broke you don’t pay zakah

if you sick, old young you don’t need to fast

if you have no money you don’t need to go to hajj

but there is nothing out there for you to get you out of salah. So important that illahi told it directly to the prophet and not through jibril.

and if you not praying that means your heart is completely sealed. Finished.
and the number one reason why hearts are sealed is because you corrupted your soul with too many sins

look in the mirror and ask yourself how many sins have I made just this week

a closed sealed heart cannot pray. No matter how much you try.

you have no hope unless you seek repentance.

vanilla

i think with my heart
make dua!

Alhamdulilah we are in the blessed month of ramadan, and what better time to ask Allah to guide you and help you. it is also the best time to form good habits since the shetans are locked away. sometimes when i feel down, i remind myself that im alive and that Allah is giving me another chance today. so maybe start with the basics like sticking to the obligatory duties and staying away from major sins. maybe try to repent so that you can move forward instead of feeling stuck and remember that good deeds erase bad deeds. i hope you find ease soon :it0tdo8::it0tdo8:

faith doesn't get worse with age wtf

It’s sad to see so many gaal Somali. Even people who don’t practice and do haram things at least still believe in Allah. Imagine believing this life is the only one you’ll live, I feel sorry for y’all.

Only you can help yourself, saxiib.
Spend some time reflecting on aakhira, the grave,.etc
May Allah guide you. Do good deeds, make sadaqah, read Quran and make lots of dua that Allah guides you. Also dont forget your morning and evening adkhar. Listen to your favourite sheikh and listen to muxaadirooyin, insha‘allah your iman increases. I‘ll pray for you insha‘allah kheir
@Mr.Haggis

The first step towards recovering is admitting you are in the wrong, now all you need to do, is fight for your soul!

Don't sign up to join these people who will beg to be sent back to earth:

[For such is the state of the disbelievers], until, when death comes to one of them, he says, "My Lord, send me back

That I might do righteousness in that which I left behind."
No! It is only a word he is saying; and behind them is a barrier until the Day they are resurrected.
If you’re looking for an Islamic point of view, I think these are sound pieces of advice. Sometimes it’s hard to do the right thing but once you manage to do it, you’ll feel more fulfilled and happier. Allah SWT understands that you can struggle but if you persevere and fight your struggles, you can get more ajar for it. I wish you all the best in this journey.
Ofc you can leave the religion too if you really think as though your beliefs are incompatible with Islam but I would urge you to really think about it and reflect upon it.

May Allah guide you, brother you know yourself than us,Ask yourself what is stopping you to practise the deen? If it is a bad peoples that you with friends, you need to have A good friends who helps you to go to prayers.
