I get what you’re trying to say, but I don’t like the word-of-mouth aspect of it. Everything should just be in the Quran. Even the Quran itself is a word-of-mouth scripture & the surahs weren’t originally sent down in order.

Lorddd have mercy. Does that mean you're asking why Allah didn't send it down in the quran? The whole point of Islam is to follow the SUNNAH. A hadith that tells us a step to step wuhdu application would make no sense in the quran. The quran is a lyrical holy book. Imagine "surah wudhu" "surah dua before leaving the house"
