I’m surprised by the amount of people that are showing genuine concern for Sudan

The Trump administration and their business partners supported the revolution since they were desperate to invest in Sudan but couldn't due to Bill Clinton and Obamas sanctions. Plenty of American and European companies even risked multi-million dollar fines just to operate in Sudan due to how lucrative it is. A decade ago Mcdonalds tried to open in Sudan (now they only operate in 3 countries in Africa) but couldn't due to the blockade.

Just days after Bashir was overthrown and sanctions were lifted American companies from banking, technology, to retail flooded Sudan. Having a top economist as PM also helped.

Why are you guys lying about Somali issues not getting traction. Pretty sure we dominate social media every few years, unhappily.

this good new and all, but isn't messed up that american can put blockades/sanctions on nations which severely cripples the well being of the people of that nation just because set leader makes the wrong decision.
