I see a lot of guys saying this because the prophet Pbuh had many wives and they want to follow what the prophet pbuh did yet one thing everybody ignores which is a neglected sunnah is helping your wife with chores around the house cooking and cleaning it is seldom practiced

I never understood why a lot of Somali guys think it’s degrading or feminine to cook and clean with your wife after all it’s your own home you should take pride in taking care of it

Let us be honest here. A lot of guys who get married to a second wife can barely look after their first family. They want to live some kind of rich Arab Sheikh life when they are on low income.Many of those guys have failed marriages and children from their previous marriage so they want to start again. My responsibility as a husband/father is to pay all the bills even if she works, discipline the children, provide provision and help with house work if she needs it. I wouldn’t do something I’m not comfortable of doing.
