The thing is we can recognize awdal as a special state like khatumo, and then have a super massive military presence there. But how do we do it? There's no way to get to Awdal without going through SNM land, and airlifting soldiers isn't affordable right now.
I think Somalia should have a strong military base there, in fact I think it should have its biggest military base there. The south is more easily defendable, but Awdal area and its sea is a lot more vulnerable, with a lot of enemy collaborators surrounding it like SNM.

You can get there through the sea or via the Djibouti border, I know Djibouti is on our side on this conflict as Ethiopia's plans are direct threat to their interest and existence.
