It was alright, somewhat hard but not too hard at all.

The last 2 hours bothered me. Time wouldn’t move. I ended watching the food guys on YouTube ( Food ranger). It was out of gaajo

I was really good the whole day until I broke my fast. That's when I felt Nauseas. I literally drank half a cup of sugar thinking my blood sugar was low. Left work early . threw up a lil now. Ok I guess I wont fast tomorrow.

Pretty good--it wasn't anywhere as difficult to complete as last year, wallahi. Whenever the hunger pangs kicked in, I just read the Qu'ran. Read a lot of that today, actually. In both English and Arabic. Held in my temper when I was angry and avoided cursing others. Actually prayed my salat on time. Pretty great day in all--don't know how I'm going to keep it up the whole month.

You always think you need to eat way more than you do for iftar--isn't that crazy?

Not hard at all, although the past few years I fasted in Africa, shorter fasts but in Canada its not sweltering hot so its easy

It started out easy, I even went to the mall to do some shopping therapy. Came home and avoided the kitchen

It was good. I had to break my fast (dates and water) on my way home. I didn’t eat much for afur. Went for tawrih. Came home clean the house and kitchen then made suhuur for next day.

Bro @TekNiKo

Have you noticed that the fast back home is shorter yet more severely gaajo. You’ll feel like devoid of water and food.

Has that been your experience?

I think it’s because Somalia is a semi desert. It’s like you in the Sahara

To each their own
It is the second day for us Somalis down under.

First day was easy enough.

But today is the exact opposite. Upset stomach, nausea and drowsiness hit me like a truck.

1 hour and 30 min let for me to go
