Just think about it.....if you are only waiting for someone to approach you, you are by definition selectively choosing your potential partner based on who makes a move on you. That is severely limiting. I don't see proactive approaches by women as "desperate" by any measure. You will realise this later on in life, when likely your prince charming has never approached you.

There's nothing wrong with asking for guy's numbers. I asked a guy for his number for the first time this year and he ended up being a Nazi skin head. I'm never asking for a guy's number again. It felt so weird and unbecoming to ask a guy I didn't know for his number but if It's a guy you know I think It's okay. So long as you both lile each other and you aren't chasing him.
