I'm not slandering anyone. Merely, I just want to understand the logic that the prophet of God didn't have enough moral fortitude to not fall victim for the shortcomings of his society. What western society used to practice is irrelevant because they were hardly the ideal moral agents themselves, and besides they weren't claiming to be prophets of God - which is what kills the entire defence that it was normal at the time.
