For now, I don’t plan on children. Growing up with 5 younger siblings really tests you and shows you it’s not all honey and roses when it comes to raising children. This attitude may change in the future but for the large part I spent 20+ years doing that role with my siblings and in a way, is a mirror staring back at you on how you’d handle your own children.

It would be great to marry someone that doesn’t want or can’t have kids to be honest. But having kids helps strengthen your relationship and adds a purpose to both lives. Not to mention, the positive benefit of good deeds after you die if you raise them to be upright etc. in all seriousness, the global economy is making it harder for a nuclear family to prosper amongst the general average populace. Birth rates are declining officially in the West. Regarding a single mother, if I’m brutally honest, it would have to matter how she became a single mother. Was it halal means ? Child is from a marriage etc. was it because of her behaviour there was a divorce? Numerous factors will have to come into consideration, but again I always state men shouldn’t waste time talking about children unless their bank account and career is looking healthy.

Never understood how some people just get married even though they know they can't provide for the kid it is recipe for disaster it's not only about money either u gotta be mentally stable and 100% be mentally ready to be a father so the kid can grow up in a good healthy environment it's a tough game you are the captain of the ship every action u take will have consequences i feel like most somalis don't think it through 'iska dhal'' and inshaa Allah everything will be good is their mentality

I am in the camp that having kids in this world is lowkey cruel and with global warming being a thing bringing them into a cruel cruel world is not my plan right now.
