It's easy for you guys to say you want 5-7 or 15 kids... when you don't have to carry the babies or go through child birth.
Men are the weaker sex, without women you lot couldn't survive.
If I had one wish, it would be men got pregnant and gave birth.
That would make men the stronger sex and reverse the role based on your logic. Isn't that a loss?
You guys can't even take the pain of period cramps, which are simulated.

Haha back home is not an option, I like having intellectual conversations which probably can't happen with a sister from back home.

It is true. Childbirth is painful experience for women. That is offset by the sound of the babe coming out healthy and crying immediately looking for its mother's attention and nipple. Mother's face would beam and all she wants is the baby on her lap. Pain is forgotten that fast.
The female body has the highest level of endorphins close to childbirth and during childbirth in preparation of the pain anticipated. Women are equipped for all of these pains despite the undesirable experience they go through in period(cramps) and in childbirth. No woman ever wants to trade places with a guy.
I do agree with the ridiculous number of kids some here mentioned they want is untenable.

Idk if I'm actually gonna move and take my kids back home permanently..
but for sure I would take them back for a couple of years so that they become familiar with the culture and language..
Can't have our future generations losing our dhaqan now can we ?

I am sure they remember the pain but not the intensity of it. I think it's the miracle of allah that woman can cope with so many physical changes and continue to get pregnant

Healing takes time of course, so the pain would linger around for that long. My point emphasized only the trade off each woman feels was worth going through the trouble. I look back at my mother and how she was very fond of me as a troublesome kid who caused occasional pain for her. I don't think women dwell on the pain much but on the outcome and what it was worth for going through with it. That is why also it is painful for women to be mistreated and disrespected by their children. The sacrifice they made both body and spirit requires our utmost respect for our moms.
Having 3 kids is ideal to get both genders in your stock in case you end up with two boys at first. Beyond that is asking more burden to come your way. The choice is also location dependent. Not every place is suited to raise high numbers of kids.

For the college guys here, I suggest you marry the girl who wants you. Get an apartment, work part time, enjoy life and wait on the kids(hold on from having) till you graduate. You get your siil need satisfied while you pursue building a better career and good income. Works like magic for all parties involved.
