Majority of Somali Ethiopians have a better life compared to the Somali kenyans and Somali immigrants in Kenya. The Ethiopian government has changed tactics for the last decade or so and has given my clansmens all the universal needs of society to achieve a successful life. My clansmen are considered citizens in my country (Ethiopia) while the Somali kenyans are treated as second class citizens even when they hold legal documentation. The Ethiopian government is also not as corrupt as the Kenyan one and doesn't ask their fellow Somali compatriots bribes. This is why security in the Ethiopian Somali region and the country at large is much safer than Kenya even though we share a longer border with Somalia than Kenya does with Somalia.
