@DR OSMAN i know but even southern’s figured it HG are good at only urban warfare why you think Abdullahi Yusuf and Ethiopians were air striking them in xamar.
even Morgan and SNF commanders figured it afterwards he cut off there supply route via baadiyaha once he did it lead to him capturing all the way to afgoye 30kms from xamar when he was commanding SNF and @TekNiKo people were the bulk of fighters

Without a doubt brother HG do not like open warfare, I noticed this in hamar 99, they like to fight from xafadaha especially if it's not their town like hamar and make the others buckle over destruction is my guess. But spot on I did realize this urban warfare mentality plus killing civilians, they were going to kill me even tho i was unarmed as they may of thought i was an abgaal civilian as they were fighting abgaal over checkpoints.

Exactly they start an urban warfare fight and they expect you to leave the city since you don’t want it reduced to rubbles.

HG aren’t unstoppable it’s just there good at urban warfare and they had an advantage since Siad barre stored all the heavy weapons in galgadud.

He should've spread them out in mx strongholds and any daroods loyal to him. Giving Hawiye that kinda weaponry was doom for Somalia. I wouldn't mind us getting our hands on some of those 'air to surface missiles' in yemen which reach Riyadh, but like u said, NATO is patrolling but u can still get around NATO by renting a 'large vessel' but the problem with this is, when yemen conflict ends so will our supply route. The other problem is 'monkey see/monkey do' culture of somalia, if they find out one clan has upgraded, the rest will upgrade, so the battle is equalized again.

The other issue is if Somalis escalate their weaponry, the balance won't change as they all upgrade, the only thing to change is the 'scale' of our wars and it's destruction capacity.

Air to surface missiles are launched from an aircraft. I think you meant surface to air? Anyway they are both terrible if they were to be brought to Somalia. Yeh it's a typo surface to air. But we know the monkey see-monkey do of Somalis, their won't be no real 'edge' anyways if we all copy and 'escalate' monkey see/monkey do style, so wat can change only is the 'scale of the destruction' not that anyone has an 'edge' weapon wise.

Building an army, not nessecery a big one, and equip it with infantry weapons is enough to bring all of sool and sanaag to SSC fold. But that needs money, a lot of it.

Everything isn't 'sticks n stones' brother and 'equipments' it doesnt matter how much u have if u lack strategy and quality soldier base(nomadic), plus scenario testing ur strategy, isla hisabtan on the 'waste' on ammo where only 5% hits targets or useless targets, its pointless. Every weapon has a 'disadvantage' which can be exploited in someone 'genius strategy'. They all fall under long-short range(then quantity then supply points) and then depending on how u use it makes u win becuz they all have disadvantages that can be exploited.
