Yemen is hella corrupt we should buy all their weapons now before their mooryaanism ends.

Dubeys been supplying SSC weapons via Bosaso.

We can only buy light weapons like rifles since we got NATO/EU mission patroling our coast.
we buy pickup and fit them in with mounted guns.
I wouldn't mind us getting our hands on some of those 'air to surface missiles' in yemen which reach Riyadh, but like u said, NATO is patrolling but u can still get around NATO by renting a 'large vessel' but the problem with this is, when yemen conflict ends so will our supply route. The other problem is 'monkey see/monkey do' culture of somalia, if they find out one clan has upgraded, the rest will upgrade, so the battle is equalized again.
The other issue is if Somalis escalate their weaponry, the balance won't change as they all upgrade, the only thing to change is the 'scale' of our wars and it's destruction capacity.

1. Strategy, execution of strategy, objectives set for each squad
2. Calculating the war expense, we must not allow for 'waste' in our bullets. We shouldn't be expending 90% of our ammo when it only hits 10% of their target, silly war. This needs training(world class ex military). Its sad seeing thousands of bullets just hitting the air only lol. Every bullet must have an idoor target to its name
3.The 'quality' of the soldiers. Since South/SL are highly urbanized or farmers, this is an 'edge' if we only recruit 'miyi' boys who won't be corrupted to life excesses but they need the above 'two' areas fixed to be effective

@Tropical Breeze war runs in my blood for centuries, it comes natural to me, my second awoowe was a infantry for the sultanate, my awoowe was a 'police' n part time trader. U have to remember when colonials came they knew how to use us. Miyi ppl were seen useful as 'security' roles, literate ppl(quranic ones) where seen as capable to read and administer, farmers were seen as 'house servants' like they wud do on the farm 'tending to the land'.

30 years of urbanization have made other clans soft, its good that most of our clan aren't urbanized.

HG used this very same tactic bringing nomadic ppl who aren't corrupted to life excesses in urban area and took half hamar and ran rampant on weaker farmer clans it's an edge niyahow and they used it. But we luckily as darod have a continent size of that unlike them who only have 1 gobol of em. Why u think they hate us? We must becareful with HY tho who has adopted the same posture as darod/HG. This is actually something Hitler of all people wanted to institute. He wanted to destroy the USSR economic and manufacturing power only leaving a rag tag group of 'partisan forces in the area mid way betweeen Vladivostok and Siberia. He would send young Germany soldiers there for years at a time to train and live in these conditions strengthing into 'super commandos' and far superior and rigid then 'draft' urban soldiers. That's why I've always advocated for young mx men who are from urban centers to train in Baadiyo somewhere just for this purpose let them receive their training there for about 9 months, standard training. It will turn them into real soldiers instead of the waving their arms around yelling 'HOY' and marching with little to none firearm training. I want to get a written account from someone like Gen Bixi about how they did training back during Siyaad era and improve and modernize to today instead of sending them to a foreign country.
