how common are beggars in your city

beggars are pretty common in my city. i don't mind homeless ppl or respectful beggars but the beggars we have here are something else. 50% are scam artists and many of them will get aggressive if you say no. they will also randomly pop up to you if you're walking alone or even sitting on a bench. sometimes they beg in the metro and a good 70% of them look like crackheads.

there's been several occasions where they randomly ask for money while im in the middle of talking to someone and they get sooo mad.

it's very anxiety inducing to be walking back home at evening time and some random man rushes towards you to ask for some change.

Every city has beggars. I personally witnessed the most in Xamar.

Romanians are professionals at this where am from they sometimes cosplay as muslims wearing hijab one of them came up to me and my mum saying salam sister lol
