This could be prevented. I once interned at a government agency and we had a huge conference planned. Someone from the communication center appointed suggested to us interns to ask questions in case nobody from the audience asked a question. Since the topic of their conference was in line with my research topic, I volunteered to ask a question. Likely for me some professor asked a question to the speaker, so I didn't have to stand up and embarrass myself. PM Kheyre or even the moderator should have appointed someone beforehand to avoid this embarrassment. Planning is everything. I'm missing this kind of shrewdness from the PM and his team. They're reactionary and not proactive.
