My Dear Hijabi sisters.
Please be aware that you are not only representing yourself, your family and your ethnic group, you are representing Islam.
Hijab is not wrapping a tight cloth around your neck whilst wearing ultra-tight clothes.
If you choose to dress like that, fine, but please do not lie and call it "hijab", you are misleading the ignorant.
Everyone knows what hijab is, it is covering up your whole body and dressing modestly.
By extension, wearing a hijab is not enough, it should also extend to the way you carry yourself in public.
Do not act uncouth, speak loudly as if you need hearing aid or carry out attention seeking activities on social media.
If you want to record yourself lip syncing to music, don't do it whilst wearing hijab. It looks crazy.
No, we are not allowed to grace the covers of magazines , we are not allowed to twerk or dance in front of strangers, we are not allowed to make music videos. Let alone carry out all these activities, whilst wearing a hijab.
The Hijab is being turned into a joke. Why do we need to "fit in" so desperately??
Be strong & stop making a mockery of the hijab.
Parents, before you tell your daughters to wear a hijab, teach her basic islamic manners. The same goes for your sons.

Mahadsanid.
