My Dear Hijabi sisters.

Please be aware that you are not only representing yourself, your family and your ethnic group, you are representing Islam.

Hijab is not wrapping a tight cloth around your neck whilst wearing ultra-tight clothes.
If you choose to dress like that, fine, but please do not lie and call it "hijab", you are misleading the ignorant.

Everyone knows what hijab is, it is covering up your whole body and dressing modestly.

By extension, wearing a hijab is not enough, it should also extend to the way you carry yourself in public.
Do not act uncouth, speak loudly as if you need hearing aid or carry out attention seeking activities on social media.

If you want to record yourself lip syncing to music, don't do it whilst wearing hijab. It looks crazy.

No, we are not allowed to grace the covers of magazines , we are not allowed to twerk or dance in front of strangers, we are not allowed to make music videos. Let alone carry out all these activities, whilst wearing a hijab.

The Hijab is being turned into a joke. Why do we need to "fit in" so desperately??
Be strong & stop making a mockery of the hijab.

Parents, before you tell your daughters to wear a hijab, teach her basic islamic manners. The same goes for your sons.

:kanyehmm:

Mahadsanid.

I bet most girls aren't even thinking of this while wearing one. They're most likely trying to get on with life while pleasing their fam/god not trying to represent an entire community imo.

Horta the expectation that you have to be an ambassador for islam just for wearing a hijab is dumb :drakewtf: and it's mostly aimed at young girls and teenagers lol

Everyone is an ambassador for their faith. If you don't want to behave modestly, don't wear a hijab.:draketf:

I guess if you're faithless, you only represent yourself...:manny:

Lol why did you dodge my comment tho. I bet neither you or @government have had to be an ambassador of anything. No one looks to you as a representation of a good muslim whereas with hijabis that expectation is there 24/7

It's dumb and silly, especially to have these expectations of teenagers of all people, their brains aren't even fully developed to accurately grasp consequences. That's why they are on social media flopping all the time

Been badana... Just because you preemptively apologies to all of ur white friends about the latest muslamic lunatic doesn't mean you are an representation of anything :ayaanswag:

Exhibition A: Say you randomly decided to break into a dance like these two girls https://www.somalispot.com/threads/whats-wrong-with-uk-xalimos.24293/

No one would bother making an entire thread about you. Whereas with these girls the fact that they wear hijab while doing this now warrants a post

Let hijabis enjoy themselves I see a few boisterous females are seen getting their boogie on in the clubs, aah finally these people are enjoying themselves and not just thinking this world is a test lol. Go be annoying and judgemental elsewhere and let these young women have fun. Many parents have had rebellious periods then expect their children to lead pious lifestyle ??? Hahahha

Why do xalimos wear tight pants and hijab it's always xalimos and not so much arabs or pakis.
Because they can get away with it unlike arabs whom are prisoners and will be honour killed if she dares to show a little bit of rebellion ? Many Arabs are starting to be ex Muslims especially many of the women becuase of the harsh inequality between men and women. Their cultural lifestyle is a hell hole uff

Not true. Arabs in London atleast dress the same as Somalis do. Many arabs dont even wear hijab whilst most Somalis do.
Even Pakistanis who have the most sexist culture of them all dress immodestly and often aren't hijabis.

I believe most girls only wear hijab because of family/community pressure and not because they are spiritually ready.

There's no other reason to explain why there are so many loose hijabies and I don't mean sexually.

Becuase they want to have fun ? They have a more liberal mindset than their parents ? That's what you get when you taste western lifestyle, a clash between what your parents expect and what your peers are doing ? It's torture to be a teenager and Muslim, thank god im liberal and wouldn't care if a hijabi went to a club in London ? So ? Who cares let people live their lives ffs
