Both are in Banaadiri and Murusade districts. Every year these markets suffer from the El Niño that floods the streets. No drainage system no nothing.

With the amount of tax collected there’s many projects which could be underway. Renewable energy, business startup enterprises for benadiir, etc. but drainage like you said is the highest priority. This is the doings of the local Banaadir regional administration forcing these miskeen business owners to pay more tax. You’d expect the Banaadir local government to build roads, hospitals better drainage system etc with all the money they collect but nah, they just put it in their pockets. The business owners have refused to open their businesses and have taken it to the streets. Madaale needs to step down. He is harming the city.

Why don’t all these businesspeople come together and create and invest in a private company specializing in roads, hospitals, and more? It’s a much better idea than waiting for government assistance, don’t you think?

The whole of Banaadir is build on private investments. This is also the very reason certain districts are doing far better than others.
