Before Hassan Sheikh came to power again, barely any roads were built and most weren't built by government. It is completely different now and of course, you wouldn't know. Both are in Banaadiri and Murusade districts. Every year these markets suffer from the El Niño that floods the streets. No drainage system no nothing.

It is true that recently madaale has been building roads and flood water infrastructure and even resumed the maintenance for the previously broken solar street lights, something that hasn't been done since he left office.
