Bullying and hazing is a big problem in the UK. It’s similar to how bullying and hazing is in the eastern world. The UK is unique from other western countries in this regard.
It’s something to do with English culture. They’re snarky and nasty people by nature. It’s a sickening combination so when you consider the tensions immigrant communities naturally have with one another from living in close quarters, it’s a recipe for mayhem.

Late to the conversation, but I'm glad he recovered and is probably in better health and appearance than they are. I hope he sees them on the road and sizes them up.
I went to school between 015 and 20; my class was all Iraqis and a few Somalis; we were vastly outnumbered, but the Iraqi kids, as well as the madows and some Caribbean pupils, rocked hard with us. The cadaans were fine as well. I had two brothers a year above me, and their year was dominated by madows and timo jileecs. They used to get pirate jokes here and there, but they were the most well-known and respected ones. The Madow girls loved them as well. When they started skl and everyone was getting used to each other, they used to have a lot of fights, but I don't think it was because they were Somali. So Madow in his year loved me as their younger coz of them and basically i was untouchable in the whole skl.
It's unfortunate that the only Somalis in his year were coons; there were only three Somali lads in my entire year group, and we didn't take anything; we were also humorous asf. To be honest, I don't know his condition. Perhaps because my school was primarily Arabs, and these Arabs, particularly Iraqis in London, like Somalis. I don't think the brother lived in London, 1 Somali kid was dangerous at dissing people it lunch breaks sometimes people would hold violation battles we would always win and it wasn't dissed about Somali stuff they didn't have any their wasn't anything to attack forehead jokes didn't work and pirate jokes was corny asf we used it as flex and they never thought piracy was a bad thing but gangster lol. And the 3rd somali guy was biggest player from Madow girls to timo jileec and cadaans he had all of them, i did too of course lol.

I have observed ajanabis with similar backgrounds are more likely to respect Somalis. Even the prideful ajanabis, once you prove yourself as someone with pride and a backbone, are likely to respect us.
In general, people from the global south who understand our conditions and way of life are more receptive to us.
It is the people who we share no commonalities with that give us the hardest time (excluding our neighbors because their animosity is for a different reason.)
The uk was and is a hellhole for some somalis in school in the uk particularly areas where there were small somalis and it doesn't help when you have coon somalis degrading your people ti fit in, you are lucky you didn't grow up here we had it very tuff growing up !

naya keep it quite you American Somalis wouldn't know a thing about growing your credit and being last comers to place where other ethnicities established themselves and especially outnumbered. American Somalis are huge asf and literally colonised entire state and cities your schools would be filled with Somalis your restaurants and shops look at Minnesota yall are literally concentrated in couple cities. Not familiar with the UK scene but I grew up in Ireland in the early 2000s, I went through bullying around 12-13 from a traveller, and after getting no help from the teacher, it went from name calling to trying to get physical and after getting reassurance from my uncle who I confided in, that I won't get in trouble.
