I can. I lived with them. Their crime rates, fatherless behaviour, degeneracy and s3xual perversion is off the charts. They lead the nation in STDs yet have the nerve to come for Somalis and insult us? I used to live near where the carnival takes place. The crime, drugs, stabbings, filth and sheer immorality of those attendees repulsed me. Oh the scenes, you had to be there to believe it! I went to school between 015 and 20; my class was all Iraqis and a few Somalis; we were vastly outnumbered, but the Iraqi kids, as well as the madows and some Caribbean pupils, rocked hard with us. The cadaans were fine as well. I had two brothers a year above me, and their year was dominated by madows and timo jileecs. They used to get pirate jokes here and there, but they were the most well-known and respected ones. The Madow girls loved them as well. When they started skl and everyone was getting used to each other, they used to have a lot of fights, but I don't think it was because they were Somali. So Madow in his year loved me as their younger coz of them and basically i was untouchable in the whole skl.

It's unfortunate that the only Somalis in his year were coons; there were only three Somali lads in my entire year group, and we didn't take anything; we were also humorous asf. To be honest, I don't know his condition. Perhaps because my school was primarily Arabs, and these Arabs, particularly Iraqis in London, like Somalis. Actually, in the dark continent, at least the parts I visited in the past couple of years (I just recently started exploring Africa, and visited S Africa, and Equatorial Guinea in West Africa, and of course, Morocco, Mauritania, and Egypt), Nigerians are not quite as despised, or viewed as negatively as they might be in the West, at least from my brief encounters, if anything, other Africans speak very highly of them: of course recounting their penchant for dodgy dealings, and fraudulent behaviour.

First year at Uni, a Nigerian student (I later found out he was of an affluent, princely background of the Yoruba tribe) joined us in one of the lectures, Tort Law, a few weeks after classes started, and post break, he approached me at the cafe with classmates of Muslims (primarily of Indian & Pakistani extractions, and others of Irish & Scotts) extraction, asking if he could borrow my notes. I told him I took none, and he started insulting everyone round me, asking 'Where are you from; why are you with these Indians, and white people'. I asked him if he wanted to join us to which he responded in that typically Nigerian way of dismissing the offer by making a sound with his lips. We left to catch another class, and thought nothing of it till the next day whilst I was heading to a seminar, and he came running looking for tips on a due assignment. At this point, I am more cheesed off by his free-loading antics than any thing else, and swift familiarity as if I had known him granted he was the 2nd or 3rd person of African heritage at the Uni.

Days passed, on a Fri., after university debates, and Salat al Jum3ah, we, Muslims of the sub-continent, Arabia, and Africa, congregated at a corner for lunch from a nearby Pakistani restaurant, and here he came with his big his mouth spewing insults, cussing and cursing as if a drunken sailor, this time targeting one of my Sudani friends whilst pushing away a Yemeni, the smaller amongst us in stature to speak to me. Without so much as saying anything, I stood up, and tabbed him with double jab on his left temple, and a delayed right hook to his lower jaw (bearing in mind, on and off, I have been boxing for nearly 10 years at the time); I did not wait, just grabbed his collar for a headbutt, but was pulled off by the lads, before I could connect with the headbutt. Blood oozing out of upper orifices, a couple of mates forced me to leave. Next time I saw him, his first words to me were 'my brother, give me a hug'.

Long story short, we later became friends, and in one of the heated conversations, he told me he thought I was Fulani, or Berber, who are, according to him, poor nomads roaming the African desert, whom the political elites in those nations consider second class citizens, ergo the spring in his step in approaching me.

Oh by the by, he was a brilliant mind in case law, argument construction, and a prolific essayist, not to mention a magnet for the ladies in the pink complexion (after they discovered he was driving a Merc, and resided in a lavish villa), but lacked discipline of any sort. He had no inferiority complex unlike many of the young people of other African, and West Indies background, whom I have come to know in my youth, which I suppose was an add-on, if pleasant feature.

Postscript:
In an average weekend, he would spend a couple of thousand quids just for drinks, lived in a villa on his own, and would drive a different high end motor every few months from Beamers to Mercs to Austins. What used to vex him the most was my lack of interest in his wealth, and his flamboyance. Found out a few things about him in our final year, but let us leave that for another day.
