Kheire reminds me of Fredrick Douglas. Chosen to be a slave, but outshining the master :mjcry:

Why does he sound like a Kenyan man speaking English!

His English is fine. Not quite Kenyan but not typical Somali, sounds like a hard to place hybrid. But it's fluent and he's clearly able to discuss abstract concepts with careful, nuanced diplomatic language which puts him at a very elite level among non-native somali English speakers. The only thing he needs to work on is all the excessive hand gestures. They seem forced and unnatural.

I was moved by his speech, I have no doubt he will be a historic leader when it is said and done. I wish this man a long healthy career in politics :)

Moving speech indeed, by H.E. Prime Minister Kheyre. This government has proven to be competent and professional at all capacities and I don't see any competition coming close to them in 2021 even with much developments still yet to come.

    Great speech by Khaire.
He’s much better than the rabshoole Xaarmaajo in everything he does.

I was about to write the most abusive message of my life to him and then delete my account, but thankfully I will live on to continue my propaganda.

Says someone who tasted the wrath of Hawiye and was forced to eat his own shit in Utanga.

It can happen again. Just ask

Nothing truly exemplifies the Orwellian world we live in – where left is right and right is left – than PM Kheyre. A man who became a millionaire from humanitarian aid and was the force behind controversial Soma & Oil Gas – now lectures about good governance.Adam

I tried to watch it and couldn't pass 10 seconds. Very unnatural and awkward hand gestures. He can get away with the fake bravado when speaking Somali, but not in English.
