Why does he sound like a Kenyan man speaking English!

His English is fine. Not quite Kenyan but not typical Somali, sounds like a hard to place hybrid. But it's fluent and he's clearly able to discuss abstract concepts with careful, nuanced diplomatic language which puts him at a very elite level among non-native somali English speakers. The only thing he needs to work on is all the excessive hand gestures. They seem forced and unnatural.
