But she was like “Sorry, I don’t speak Somali”

I tried to tell hooyo but she didn’t listen to me, she went to my sixth form so I knew

Its actually a smart idea if you want to catch the folks in hiding. I know people who end up instinctively saying, "maya" and get caught .

Nah. I have a slimmer face with narrow features and I don't have the typical Somali forehead. I resemble more Tigray. A lot of Eritrean Tigrays would start speaking Tigrinya with me when I used to work at a super market.
