I think it's good that we should compete our citys. It will sky rocket our development in our respective citys. Competition will bring a sky rocket in development in the appearance of our naive citys and nations.
Both cities are ugly to me. They need to stop letting just anyone build stuff
ExactlyIf Somalia ever becomes wealthy, most houses need to be torn down and replaced.
I also think people should apply for permits to add colour to their houses, it's clear Somalis cannot be trusted with colour.
Mogadishu, Barawe, Marka used to be stunning, with all those elegant White Stone houses and buildings.

All coastal cities in Somalia should be torn to the ground and rebuilt with the same architecture (developed and improved but still reflective of our culture) and palm trees should be planted everywhere. Historical metropolises that lost much of their population like barawe, hobyo and saylac need to be brought back to life and rebuilt with the same historical white stone buildings as the rest of the coast. Inland cities should have a different look, similar to the look of Nairobi (minus the slums), one of natural beauty with the ground, the greenery and fertile land. Places like baidoa, beledwyene and burco should be built in this way

Stop the cap. Italians invested heavily in Mogadishu, they planned it becomes the capital of the Somalia Governorate where third of population were Italians.
