Hargeysa grew a lot. I was there in the mid 2000's back then it was a big city now it doubled in size.

This is vey true. Most people only think about how its changed from 1989 to now. It has undergone a massive change in just the last 15-20 years, not just in size but also quality of development.

especially the Eastern part of Hargeisa 2010 compared to 2017 was night and day, so many new buildings popped in New Hargeisa, 1st time I saw Yemenis moving in I knew it was popping.
