I was born in the middle east and grew up in Melbourne. I speak Arabic (all muslim Eritreans do) & Tigre too. 90% of the community is the same. The worst part & you can get mad if you want to. Im going to be honest. Here in Melbourne- theres a huge Somali community. Yet out of the Sudanese, Nigerians, Ethiopian, Cameroon, Eritreans. Kenyans. The Somalis are the least educated, driving taxis, cleaning toilets & living off government benefits. I've worked in the Federal Gov for 8yrs now- Im not telling you what I think, its what I know. Theres afew business owners- 1 is a lovely Somali restaurant - opened by my brothers friend. But as a whole theyre the laziest & least educated here. Yet have the nerve & arrogance to look down at others especially non East Afticans. You're a joke. You need to do better.

Eritrea had the highest quality of life in all of Africa by 1910. Living in modern villas, al carte dinning & had some of the best universities. I speak Arabic & Tigre. Obviously English was vital for us in the west. And the 50% of Eritreans who are Coptic speak Tigrinia not Arabic.
