Ok can you tell me what the AA community thinks of Somalis? What’s their opinion on us do they hate us or don’t really care.

Depends on what type of AA you’re talking about . I say African American, I’m talking Caribbean & afro Latinos as well. From my personal experiences, ghetto and the pro black nationalist groups, like Nation of Islam, Hebrew Israelites & Hoteps dislike Somalis and considers them fake Africans . Conservative blacks REALLY dislike Somalis. I’ve had a lot of black republicans tell me that I should go back to Somalia and that I owe them & the white man everything. You reckon they would feel more comfortable with a Puerto Rican? As an outsider, I think that African Americans get along the best with White Americans because their cultures are so intertwined. They have more in common with each other, culturally and historically, than they have with recent immigrant communities. Is that offensive?

Same. In contrast, I get along with Mexicans way more. I never found Puerto Rican men attractive, but found Mexican men to. With white Americans, I only find 1st-4th generation caadans from Nordic or Slavic origin appealing or caadans straight from Europe. I feel the same disconnection from the white Americans that came over before the 1900s as the African Americans descended from the Atlantic Slave
@yasmeen White Americans relationship with Europeans is almost exactly the same as Foundational Black Americans & Africans. Europeans had to problems enslaving other Europeans, but they called it serfism and classism.

African American means those that are descendants of american slaves! Haitians, Jamaicans, latinos, etc.. are not African American. Most real African Americans don't even know of our existence since we don't live near them. Some might know us from Social media or the news but that's about it. So tell me why would they have negative view of us? and I'm talking about African Americans descendants of American slaves.
