half somali/african american girl (shes soo pretty)

Even if she got a Somali dad she still wouldn’t be considered 100% Somali. We aren’t the madow community. We don’t accept all
I think it’s depends on several different factors. Like how much they look phenotypically similar to their Somali parent, what race their mixed with, if their ajnabi linage is similar in terms of looks, culture & religion, what gender is their Somali parent, how connected they are culturally. It think a big factor people look over is said half Somali’s personal character/social standing aka are they degenerate psychopaths.

The only mixes I see who look blendable are Horner. They have the highest probability of not being detected. Everyone else has something outlier.

That’s very true. Most of my non-Somali African lineage is very closely related to Somalis phenotypically & culturally, through my dad’s grandfather’s being of Berber descent and my maternal great grandfather’s from Cade Verde, macoronesian.

Also, my dad’s family still practiced traditional Somali cultural core concepts, such as honour (sharaf) and incorporated Islam/Waaqism into their western Christian identity.

For example, the surname my grandfather chose, Reed is a pun based off the description of the reddish brown skin outdated racial classification term that caadan eugenics, Ethiopioid used to classify them. Reed translates into someone with reddish skin and/or hair.

Also, the origin of the surname is a direct parallel to the territory my Somali family came from. They’re from the Issaq clan from mainly Somaliland, which was known as British Somaliland at the time they immigrated to the US. Reed originated County of Northumberland in northern England, is derived from a location, the valley of Redesdale and the River Rede that runs through it. The Newcastle in Northumbria has been the favourite seat of trade and manufactures from the Roman æra in Britain down to the present time & flourished as a frontrunner in the wool trade, wool being a key commodity. Isaaq have a rich mercantile history largely due to their possession of the major Somali port of Berbera. Berbera was part of the classical Somali city-statesthat engaged in a lucrative trade network connecting Somali merchants with Phoenicia, Ptolemic Egypt, Ancient Greece, Parthian Persia, Saba, Nabataeaand the Roman Empire.

They also keep the Somali naming conventions generally have the following format: [personal name] [father’s personal name] [paternalgrandfather’s personal name].

In my personal opinion as a half breed myself, I think she’s a mixed maadow mainly based on her demeanor and untraditional culturally she’s conducts herself online. She’s looks like a lot of darker skinned biracial blacks. Like a south Asian/black mix. Is there a word in Somali for mixed race ? I don’t believe whether said person is born in Somalia or not should be a factor because Somalis were traditionally nomadic travelers for THOUSANDS OF YEARS!!!! Idk, I see myself as an American of Afroasiatic descent that identifies with my Somali heritage the most.
