Half of all college graduates in India are unemployable in the future - Compared to China 240 Million Highly Skilled Graduates in 2022

@DR OSMAN this is what I mean by state capitalism, look at how India is failing despite "GDP growth" - they have worthless college degrees now because the "Free market" allowing private colleges to exists. This is pay to win, your degree doesn't matter, only the school you go to.

China on the other hand doesn't have this problem and all degree from all universities are equal because every university is carefully funded and guided by the government. Everyone recieves the same elite education.

This state capitalism or what they called "Chinese Socialism" works very well to uplift and create a highly educated group of people

The problem with the commentary on India is that instead of examining the lived reality of Indians, it focuses on this animal called GDP growth, and more recently on some magical GDP targets. Since about the early 1990s, an Indian elite, which lives first world lives, has set the domestic narrative in the media and politics. A corresponding group in the first world has echoed that narrative.

Since the industrial revolution no country has achieved success without two fundamental achievements: good education and an increase in the participation of women in the workforce. These work as a combination.

I wonder if it Somalia is facing a similar situation as you have private college, universities popping up offering diplomas or degrees.
it's facing a similar problem, "Somalia" right now is similar to 1960-1969 period with massive corruption but with a massive security issue obviously. Education has to be regulated and available for everybody, it is the equalizer and leads to prosperity no matter what system of governance is used. It's why the Kacaan had such initial success at first despite having quite possibly one of the most impossible tasks on planet earth - creating a standard language for a nomadic society and teaching the majority of the population to read in less than 3 years
