Which part are you from ? San Diego or the Bay Area ?I do.
I’m from LA, but I’ve been to both the Bay and San Diego.
Is there a sizable Somali community in LA ? I live in the Bay and there are hardly any Somalis here
As far as I know, the only Somali communities in California are in San Diego or San Jose. The rest of us are hella spread out. And where I’m from in LA, there aren’t any other Somalis.
But I’m so happy to know I’m not the only one alone here in CA.
Do you have any plans on moving? My family and I are gonna relocate back to Minnesota because it’s so lonely here without other Somalis, plus California is expensive as hell.
The Somali community in San Jose is very small so I guess San Diego is where you can find a sizable Somali community. My family have no plans on moving. The Bay Area is so damn beautiful that anywhere else you compare it to looks ugly. Some of my family members visited MN and they came back with a bad experience. So what its just hair? My sisters have better hair than her although my hair is baby hair nothing worth bragging about. Somali women have nice hair difference being we have it covered.
