Ask yourself why is it even a public government land ? They will point you to kacaan government, that's the documents they present.
If you accept this you have just given kacaan government a type of legitimacy that even it's ardent supporters haven't given to them, and you have condemned all those that resisted it.
Second point is even if you give them that legitimacy, it's public land, it belongs to the people, not private donors.
What happend to all the other public lands people turned into homes ? The government legalised them all after recieving payments by the citizens (theft), the biggest beneficiaries of this legislation we both know, those lands are no longer regarded as public nor are they private, they went to the people, the precedence for this has been set, why should this be any different?
