Seriously, the environment is the most important thing that we Somalis in Somaliland/PL/Galmudug should be focusing on. Dams, rainwater catchments, making sure that every single drop of water is utilized. There is literally oceans worth of groundwater, so why are none of us trying to utilize this? The seasonal rivers we have could be all year round, and we could irrigate farms and become self sufficient. Ultimately, the locals are the ones who would benefit from this.
