Greater Somalia

The creation of a greater somali nation is an obligation on us all as our brothers and sisters in SG and NFD are suffering under the hands of ajnabi governments. The DDS and NFD are both the worst regions in Ethiopia/Kenya when it comes to development and infrastructure and it is quite apparent that somalis are not given the same political powers or allocated the same budgets as other regions. Djibouti wouldn't be difficult to deal with but how do we go about this in the future (20-30 years max)

Lets just focus on the uncontrolled regions we have right now😭 once thats patterned insha Allah then we will come for you next 💪 But only under referendum the people can decide if they want to rejoin. If not, we recognise them and they become independent and we can become allies 👌🏾

If you are mentioning that Ethio Article, it will never be accepted by their parliament. I was thinking that one we secure the current borders including SL, we can easily buy off the djiboutian leaders and take control of djibouti. Leverage the Afar area (and the port) and trade that with DDS. Win-win for both sides

Border region disputes mainly but we have much higher birth rates across east Africa that are aiding us demographically situation in the horn will be completely different a decade or 2 from now
Inshallah the more somalis the better and the easier this task will be. We just need a weakened ethiopia/kenya and the dissolution of the puppet FGS government so that the country is controlled by a single, strong figure backed by religious clergy.

Demographics is destiny always strength in numbers but I actually support Somalis getting into the power structure of Kenya and becoming influential over there it’s one of the most developed countries in Africa Ethiopia we will always be outsiders I support Somali secession for DDS just my opinion

Greater Somalia will never happen and it's because Somalis are the most incompetent and least collaborative people on the planet. Even Somalia, Somaliland, Puntland, and Jubbaland and all the unknown Hawiye states will never happen. Do and say whatever the white man does when it comes to nation and institution building and you'll succeed. Unfortunately, Somalis are madax adeeg

Bunch of shameless hypocrites.

The same people that sit here and claim Somaliweyn will never happen will vehemently claim that Palestine will get it's territory back despite them being in a much worser and improbable situation yet when it comes to Somalis they're to "barbaric" and whatever other terms you pathetic people insult your own people with and deter other from showing pride to their people.

A lot can change in a few years. Hitler turned Germany from gaacho to a super power in a couple years lol

That shit is not happening with FGS bro let it go :i83dwbv:

OP threads like these despite with the best interest tend to bring the most shameless people to the light as the comment above states.

Using Incorrect Racist European Rhetoric when it is clearly complex and also largely incorrect.

When it comes to Africans, there is no hope. Europeans think generations ahead, while Africans only think about now.
Rwanda is xooging DRC as we speak and are supporting their fellow Tutsi rebels who have already captured parts of eastern Congo. Never say never

It should be a priority for any future Somali government to regain Somali Galbeed from Ethiopia. Somalia with its current borders is simply too vulnerable and geopolitically disadvantaged to remain a secure long-term state without it. I'll list some reasons below for why I think this:

-First, Somalia's two major rivers and their tributaries which irrigate the vast majority of our southern agricultural land originate in Ethiopia. Ethiopia can dam and control the flow of this water, which would severely hamper Somalia’s food security.

-Second, Somalia’s current borders consist primarily of the Somaliweyn coastline. We have no strategic depth; in the event of an invasion by Ethiopia, there would be no buffer between our border and our major population and industrial centers. The narrow geography leaves us with no maneuvering room.
-Third, this is related to the second point, Somalia’s awkward number 7 shape makes internal logistics inefficient. The most direct route between our two largest cities, Muqdisho and Hargeisa, cuts through Somali Galbeed, which is under Ethiopian control. This forces us to either build suboptimal infrastructure or risk relying on Ethiopia for connectivity between our cities.
-Fourth, Somalia proper contains only about half of the total Somali population in the region, while Ethiopia is home to an estimated 12 to 15 million Somalis at minimum. Incorporating that population would mean a larger economy, stronger military, more human capital, increased industry, and generally more resources.
-Final reason, Somali Galbeed comprises a significant portion of Ethiopia’s agricultural land, we're talking millions of hectares of arable soil capable of feeding tens of millions at minimum. The region is rapidly becoming Ethiopia’s breadbasket.

Ideally Somaliweyn's border with Ethiopia should be west of the Ahmar mountains, this way we occupy the high ground which will allow us more security. Essentially this is the same reason Israel occupies the Golan Heights. To the north our natural border should be west of the Awash river. If we ever gain the capabilities to do this, we will not only build a more geopolitically secure nation for future generations but we'll also be taking back lands we lost to Oromos and Afars at the same time, two birds with one stone.

This is wrong. Most powerful empire/countries are or were ruled by minority groups. The early caliphates were majority Non-Muslim/non-Arabic.
