I don’t blame him for taking over. You could say he was ambitious but many in his position would have done the same. It’s what he did after that was a shambles. It’s telling that over time you can see he was just making mistake after mistake and gradually weakening the governmental system over time that the colonists initially put in place. Some low iq Somalis would tell you he was good at first. Of course he was, he was letting things run normally at first before getting his hands dirty and messing everything up as he got settled in to ‘Jaale Siyaad’ mode.
