I used to fly on his airline from Bossaso to Dubai all the time, Damal Airlines, he would even let Bari elders including my dad chew and Marqaan on the flight and when the flight lands on the Dubai the pilot will make an announcement for everyone to discard the left-overs of the bundles and an attendent will come by with black bag and collect it, it was everyone's favorite airline.

Allah haa u naxariisto. May he grant your sister the highest level of jannah and grant patience to your family. I'm really sorry for your loss, brother. I pray that things become easier for you and your family.
Allah ha u naxariisto to the general as well. He lived a full life in service to his people until the very end. He was fighting to survive in the hospital for a week, but at his age it was always going to be a long shot. However, the hidden blessing is that the illness gave him and his family time to prepare, however brief that was. Most people don't get that and I can think of no person more deserving. May Allah widen his grave.
