Gaabadho soo gaala. Help me mend my broken heart

Mashallah walaal.
She is a lucky woman indeed 🥰

But remember, our Ilahi is a jealous God. Obsessing and thinking so much over one of his creations more than you do Him can be shirk. Unfortunately, some people will trigger these kinds of feelings in us. One thing that helps me anytime I'm crushing so hard on a guy is increasing my ibadah. I ask God to help me since we humans are liable to making irrational decisions once feelings are involved 🙏
This was beautiful walaal. I really appreciate it. I also find Ibadah helps me take my mind off of thinking about her. But at the same time I like how love makes me feel. Just knowing someone you love exists in this world can be the greatest euphoria. And then its like you realise they're so distant and you're overcome with the fear of never being together at all.

I also like to do dua for her and ask Allah that even if I am not destined to be hers, for Allah to bless her with a husband who is everything she wanted. I also like to go out of my way and make a charitable donation on her behalf. I do this for every girl I ever crushed for in the real world (not celebs) I honestly want for them to be pleasantly surprised on the Day of Judgement. But is this all too much?

I really love my Somali sisters. I can't wait to get married and be the best husband I can possibly be.

Jelous God?

There is a hadith about it.

Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) that he said: “Allah has protective jealousy, and the protective jealousy of Allah is provoked when the believer does something that Allah has forbidden.”

Maybe I should have word it as protective jealousy? Allah does not like when we obsess over approval and acceptance from his creation instead of Him.

Is there a relationship between the protective jealousy that a husband is suppose to have vis-a-vis his wife and Allah's protective jealousy over his servant's obsesses?

I"m in a dark place rn and was starting losing hope in Somali men. Grateful to know good God conscious men like you exist.

On another note, what are some of the coolest Somali love stories you have heard from close family/friends?

I remember my uncle once took me to Disneyland as he had a spare ticket. I hated the trip but the long car journey there and back was made all the more beautiful by the sweet sound of my uncle and his wife conversing back and forth. I was really in awe with how even in a private environment (in his car, with his wife and kids, and just me) he would always call his wife sweetheart, abaayo, walaal. It was really sweet. No wonder their marriage produced four wonderful children and remained solid through the decades. I have always held that uncle to high regard simply because of how much he passionately cares about his wife's emotional wellbeing. I wish to replicate that inshAllah

I won't say they are equal.

Allah's protective jealousy is bigger because He is our Creator, the one and only whilst you can fall out and separate from your wife and your jealousy feelings will diminish with time.

I wish you well hodan, there are bad men out there but there are also plenty of good men, and put trust in Allah, always make dua, pray etc and In Sha Allah you will find the right man. Take care.

Contact her family and ask for marriage
Those days are looooong gone bro lmaooo. I remember a successful brother cane and ask for my sister hand. He was a engineer and was earning well for himself and his manners were on point. My sister not only reject his proposal but absolutely embarrassed him. Never heard from him again.
