All jokes aside (and my tiny bit of qabiil-bias aside too) a Murusade president would probably be good for Somalia. Playing to the base would not get us as far as an Abgaal president so we’d have to be far more conciliatory, which is needed in a country as divided as ours. I also have my own issues with Kheyre but something we can’t deny is that the Farmaajo-Kheyre years were probably the most *politically* competent years we’ve seen; which is a low bar but still; he would be my pick even if I wasn’t Murusade.
That said, I still think Somalis should aim much higher. He’d definitely be an improvement over people like HSM, who’s blatantly corrupt, or Sheikh Shariif, who might be a decent guy but was completely out of his depth, but one day iA we will have genuinely good leaders to select from and not trying to get the best out of a bad-mid bunch.

This isn’t a current state thing. We have a river and fertile land but our agricultural production is still below where it was 50 years ago. The potential is there but it’s up to Somalis to seize it.

He’s better than many folks we have but we can and should aim higher as Somalis. We only have ourselves to blame for our current predicament; we should be among the best countries in Africa.

He can never start and finish something one day hes got on army fatigues in the front lines, next day he flying to turkey for random conference. Adan Yabal falls and within days he politicking and hosting potential contendor for next election. same with constitution changes, election changes. everything half done he has about year left to push some of these initiative to finish line but knowing him will start couple other initiatives and not finish anything
