I am going to be married in the summer inshallah. Life is going to be take a dramatic course for me. Will be interesting to see how life differs when you are now responsible for another person now.

I was thinking about marriage last year when I finished my undergrad but unfortunately after dating a few Xalimos I realized I was mentally and emotionally immature. The girls my age are super serious about getting married right away and are levels above me when it comes to maturity. Not only that but when I realized how serious marriage can be financially I had to make a full stop. Now that I'm transitioning into med school I can't really think about it for another 7-8 years Oh Weeelllll

I'll probably be in my early thirties when marriage becomes a viable option again. Until then I'll have to lower my gaze

were you now? Your humour is as hard to detect as the colonies i used to incubate at work. I used to think the way you thought too. But as intoxicating it may seem to have a successful career some women just want to settle down after climbing the ladder so to speak. I wouldnt begrudge her that.
As for the money, she has been on 30k plus for few years now. I used to think man what would she think of me who earned way less than that.

I would'nt call someone who has loads of money in her bank account......propably more than your entire qabil a waste of time. To top it off. No debt. Nah sahib, she is happy to chill at home. And unlike many men who would try and use her and tell her to work, i am content to do all the working outside the home

But you know that our community needs female doctors like gynaecologist, family doctor ....etc really I will feel more comfortable with female doctor than male. Actually you must encourage her to help her society. Even the sheikhs encourage females to study medicine.
