Exactly right. They don't see you. They see their weird lust image of you and the ways you satisfy it. Fetishes and paraphilias in general are a block to intimacy. Yeah, I think its also one of the main reasons the men who end up in these situation tend to leave. Because they realize after the baby is delivered, they never had a genuine connection with this said person and in a way don't way to raise a baby with a woman they had no love for /conceived from lust.

Not really siding with the crass way our sister was speaking of West-Africans but Aframs aren't "West-Africans", to be fair. There's an argument to be made that some sort of selection was going on with you guys in terms of the hardiest people surviving the arduous voyages and slave-owners probably sometimes "selective breeding" for lack of a better word. And most Aframs are at least 15-30% Northern European in ancestry which definitely would have an effect on y'all's average height.

Never looked up the stats but from my own life-experience, I was quite surprised to meet West-Africans on a regular basis in both the UAE and the USA and notice that they weren't all that tall on average at all. I'm about 184cm at my tallest—just a half inch over 6 ft—and most Nigerians and other West-Africans I've met over the years were visibly shorter than me. I'm actually struggling to remember meeting a single one that was taller than me. Maybe it's a nutrition thing, though. Who knows.



On this I fear I absolutely must agree with him. I've been in the West now for about 2 years and yes, walaashay, madow men are definitely fetishized on some level. I cannot recount to you how many times I went on a date with an cadaan or some other non-madow ethnicity that very clearly mostly dated or hooked up with madow men and had weird thoughts about "BBC" and all that. But I don't think the reasons for this fetishization are as flattering as our African brother thinks... most of these cadaan women are on some weird "attraction to the beastly savage" type bullshit. They stereotype you as big, muscular, manly and so on even when the madow guy in question isn't all that impressive in those regards. These types of women don't see you as fully human, even if only subconsciously.

The topic was attraction.
Being fetishized plays into that.
U don't develop fetishes over people u aren't attracted to.

The why's of the fetish is a completely different topic.
For some women it's the bbc myth.
For others it's our body type, skin tone,swag or hair type.
